OWN / SELF CATERING CAMPS – “DIE EILAND”
Note: Groups can also rent our facilities and present their own program. If “Die Eiland” does not have enough accommodation, or is already booked, we will direct you to one of our partner camp sites (list available).
Meals
If you prefer not to do your own catering, please indicate so on the Application form. Then we will contact you and do a proper quotation. SCAS uses “EM & EN Caterers and Events” – our trusted camp caterer. For the use of the kitchen there will be a R1035 kitchen levy per day (or R2 070 for the whole weekend.)

Please contact us if you need us to present or assist with specific required activities.
Nearby is Jonkershoek nature reserve (1.8 km) for various walking, jogging and cycling trails; as well as the Post card Café (restaurant and coffee shop - 1km).
Arrival and Departure
- Checking in time is from 14:00 on the date of arrival to allow the camp staff to finish the last preparations for the camp.
- The checkout time is 11:00 on the date of departure.
Special arrangements for early arrival or late departure can be made if it won’t affect another group. Please note that there will be an extra cost then.
Tarrifs
- Tariff: R195 per person, per night.
(E.g., weekend R390 pp) - Day visitors: R120 per person (09:00 – 17:00) - if the campsite is available.
Normally we work on a minimum of 30 visitors.
(If less, you'll still pay for 30.)
