Currently, we are involved with three significant sports tournaments:

The KEARSNEY EASTER RUGBY FESTIVAL, hosted by Kearsney College in Durban during the Easter weekend, is where under-19 school rugby teams from all over SA compete.

The annual CRAVENWEEK Rugby Tournament is the most prestigious Schoolboy rugby tournament in South Africa. It is where the top under-18 rugby players present their provinces. SCAS has been sending chaperones to the Cravenweek for more than twenty years.

The Grey College Under-14 Rugby Tournament takes place at Grey College in Bloemfontein. Under-14 school teams from all over South Africa participate in this tournament.

We assign a volunteer (chaperone) to each team to serve them during the tournament with the love of Christ.

SCAS plans to get involved with various other tournaments throughout South Africa involving different sporting disciplines. The most significant expenses are transport and apparel.
